On its own, onboard footage is just a clip. LapInsight lets you mark laps, pin notes to the moments that matter, and keep it all for next time.
A coach sees what the last session focused on. A driver checks their notes from a previous visit to that track.

Notes pinned to the frame
Type a note where it happened and it stays on that frame. Open the onboard weeks later, click the note, and you're back at the corner. Saved in a portable .lapi.
No logger needed
Straight from the camera
If your camera recorded GPS, and most GoPros do, one click from start/finish places every lap. No transponder, nothing to wire in.

No manual, no setup. Open an onboard and go.

Drag your onboard onto the window, or File then Open. MP4, MOV, MKV and AVI all work.

Press Ctrl+L each time you cross the line, or place every lap at once from your camera's GPS. Ctrl+Shift+L splits sectors.

Press N, type where something happened, and it stays pinned to the frame.

It started as a coaching tool.
We wanted a better way to coach motorsport. Before, the videos sat in one folder, the notes in a spreadsheet, the rest on some cloud drive. LapInsight keeps your sessions, videos, and notes together and organised. It works just as well for drivers reviewing their own laps.

- How do I get it?
- Sign up, then download the Player for Windows or macOS. It takes a minute, and you can start marking laps right away.
- Do I need a data logger?
- No. Your camera's GPS can place every lap, or you can mark them by hand. Already run a logger? Import from AiM, Alfano, Unipro, or CSV.
- What do you need from me?
- Just your feedback. Use it on your own onboards and tell us what works and what gets in the way.
